Fueling Ambition, Driving Opportunity: COMTO DC Scholarship Program

COMTO’s Washington, DC Chapter is a powerful advocate for advancing educational and career opportunities in the transportation industry. Our scholarship program is a cornerstone of that mission, supporting students from the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region as they pursue academic and professional excellence.

Funded through the generous support of our members and partners in the transportation industry, the scholarships will be awarded to students in the amounts of $1,000 to $2,000 to exceptional students pursuing studies in STEM, business, public policy, transportation, and technical trades in our inaugural scholarship year, 2026.

This year’s (2026) program awarded a total of $7,500.00 in scholarships to five (5) incredible students during our inaugural Scholarship Reception held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) headquarters building in Washington, DC.
